Travel Photo Challenge - Day 3
When thinking about travelling, each place has a value. Be it big or be it small, it's just up to our perception of it and how much it impacted on out lives. Therefore I decided to pair precious stones to each continent, based on my personal perception of them. It's not a scoring of possible travel destinations but the impressions I got after exploring quite a big portion of this planet.
As many of you I spent the last few months wondering if there was a place I could visit with a certain degree of safety which also was not subject to specific travel restrictions.
If I had to choose a country where my safari experiences have been the best I would definitely say: Botswana. I have been to Botswana several times in the past years, but I decided I’m not going there anymore.
Safari is the most amazing experience a traveller can make. Nothing can be compared to seeing wildlife from a close distance.
Are you souvenir persons? I am not. I don’t dislike them but I live in a very small house and I don’t have much room to allocate to souvenirs from the 132 countries I’ve travelled to so far. During my trips I do usually buy items that I can actually use once back at my home or I can see every day to spare a thought for an old travel rather than objects that I have to place in a hidden corner of my house to let cover in dust and forget about.
