23 years ago the municipality of Torino decided to gather a group of artists and to ask each one of them to provide an installation to placed in the city centre, suitable not only to celebrate Christmas but also the city itself as the cradle of the new trends in arts.

Torino is a blessed city. Most of the conteporary architectures are well inserted within the city context and allow keeping the original elegance by also experimenting contemporary and innovative architecture.

When I planned my tour of Sicily I thought I would see as much as possible of it, thus I needed to well balance driving time and allocate reasonable visiting time at every stop, including overnights. Mazara del Vallo was a big surprise which exceeded my expectations thus I stayed too short.

Leaving Caltagirone was sad but necessary to complete my grand tour of Sicily. I drove approximately 1.30 minutes to reach the city of Agrigento which is famous for one of the most important attractions of the antique times: Valle dei Templi.

It is not just one place but a set of cities whose reconstruction in the late baroque era, created an impressive and unprecendented monumental valley, enriched with noble palaces of particular interest as well as of unique beauty.
