As of June 22nd, 2014 the vineyards landscape of Piedmont, in Italy, has been included in the Unesco World Heritage List. It took almost 10 years from the very first initiative to the declaration of inclusion as well as several visits by the Unesco Committee. The area was in fact pretty large and never before such an extensive territory was nominated.

I like to share with you some pictures I took in these past few days. Fortunately the weather in Italy is very good in these days, the sky is as blue as can be, the sun shines and warms up pleasantly and strolling around is one of those simple pleasures I always underestimated.
Chocolate + Espresso. The “Bicerin” Cake
Bicerin is an official non alcoholic drink of Torino made of 3 ingredients only: dark chocolate, espresso coffee and whipped cream. Being such a huge success among the visitors I thought I could make a cake with the same ingredients and it turned out to be a very good idea: it’s as delicious as can be.
