The Flight of the Angels at Victoria Falls
I have been to Victoria Falls twice, in 2016 and 2019. Both times I experienced one of the most powerful shows of nature. However in 2019 the whole Zambezi River basin suffered quite a serious drought, and the volume of water dropping down into the gorge was quite low.

The pearl of the Tirrenian sea: Tropea
Tropea is located along the Tirrenian coast on a rocky spur which overlooks the whole Gulf of St. Euphemia and the bluest sea. On clear days, like the one I have been so lucky to experience, you can see also the island of Stromboli, in a distance, one of the Eolian Islands
Monreale: the most beautiful church of Sicily
I left Marsala after a very good and very abundant breakfast and started driving my car, direction Palermo I decided to add another cultural pit stop in Monreale, a world famous place for Mosaics.
The salt pans of Marsala, in Sicily: a rainbow looking landscape.
I choose to visit Marsala for two reasons: the Unification of Italy and the Salt Pans.
Villa Altair and Mazara del Vallo: a pleasant surprise in Sicily.
When I planned my tour of Sicily I thought I would see as much as possible of it, thus I needed to well balance driving time and allocate reasonable visiting time at every stop, including overnights. Mazara del Vallo was a big surprise which exceeded my expectations thus I stayed too short.
