What could one do to get inspiration for his/her own first after-covid trip? I searched my book shelves where travel guides for every single country on earth are kept, I watched dozens of documentaries, followed several bloggers and read about their amazing travel stories, and I also followed food bloggers from several areas to get familiar with the kind of food I should expect. I have short listed some destinations already, but still I haven't made up my mind.
I have been to Victoria Falls twice, in 2016 and 2019. Both times I experienced one of the most powerful shows of nature. However in 2019 the whole Zambezi River basin suffered quite a serious drought, and the volume of water dropping down into the gorge was quite low.
If I had to choose a country where my safari experiences have been the best I would definitely say: Botswana. I have been to Botswana several times in the past years, but I decided I’m not going there anymore.
To be on my travel bucket list a place must offer outstanding culture, unique natural features and landscapes, memorable food and welcoming people. To be honest with you I have been very lucky so far at travels as such ingredients always mixed well in every trip of mine.
